Why we built this

The mobile tyre industry in the UK is overwhelmingly made up of small independent operators — often one person, one van, and a phone that rings all day. They are good at the work. They are less well served by the way jobs reach them: WhatsApp groups, missed calls, Facebook posts with half a postcode, and a lot of driving to jobs that were already taken.

Drivers get the mirror image of that problem. A flat tyre at eight in the morning turns into six phone calls, three voicemails, and no clear answer about who is coming or what it will cost.

Neither side is badly served because anyone is doing anything wrong. They are badly served because nothing sits in the middle doing the coordination. That is what FlatTyreHelp is.

What we actually do

We take one structured request from a driver — where the vehicle is, what has happened, when they need help, and whatever vehicle detail they have — and we route it only to fitters whose coverage, capability and availability genuinely match. Then we bring back a confirmed fitter, an arrival window and an all-in price, before anything is committed.

We do not employ fitters, own vans or hold tyre stock. The business that attends is independent, and the work contract is between you and them. We make that explicit rather than hiding behind a single brand name, because you deserve to know who is turning up.

The principles we work to

Honest about coverage

If nobody can reach you in the window you need, we say so immediately. A list of every town in Britain on a coverage map means nothing if no fitter is actually there.

Price before dispatch

You see the figure before anyone sets off. No meter, no "we will see when we get there", no surprise line items on the invoice.

Real verification, or none at all

We show specific checks — identity confirmed, insurance on file, business details verified — rather than a meaningless "verified" badge. A check only appears once it has genuinely been carried out.

No invented reviews

Ratings on this platform come from completed jobs booked through it. We would rather show fewer reviews than fabricate social proof.

Safety over speed

There are places a mobile fitter cannot and should not work — live motorway carriageways being the obvious one. We tell you that instead of taking the booking.
