The process

How FlatTyreHelp works.

One request instead of ten phone calls. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you tell us about the tyre, to the moment the vehicle is back on the road.

Step by step

Six steps, and only one of them is yours.

01

You send one request

Location, problem, timing. Registration and tyre size are optional — plenty of people do not know them and that is fine. It takes about a minute and costs nothing.

02

We match it to real fitters

Your request goes to independent mobile tyre businesses that cover that postcode, handle that type of work, and are marked available for the window you asked for.

03

You get a confirmed price

A named fitter, an arrival window and an all-in total — including fitting, balancing, the valve, disposal and VAT. No meter, no surprise line items.

04

You decide

Accept it, change the timing, or walk away. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you say yes.

05

The fitter attends

They come to the vehicle wherever it is — driveway, workplace car park, lay-by or street — with the tyre machine, balancer and torque tools in the van.

06

Job done, tracked and closed

You get a record of the work, the price paid and who did it. The old tyre leaves with the fitter through a licensed waste route.

What makes it different

You are not buying a tyre. You are solving a problem.

Most tyre websites open with "choose your tyre". That is a terrible first question when you are standing next to a flat one.

  • Problem first, product second — We ask what happened and where you are — not which brand you would like.
  • One set of details, entered once — No repeating your postcode to five different people.
  • Matched by capability, not by who paid most — Run-flats, EVs, vans and locking nuts all need specific kit. We only route to fitters who have it.
  • A real answer about availability — If nobody can reach you in your window, we tell you immediately.
  • You keep control — Free to send, free to decline, and you see who is attending before you confirm.

Once a fitter is confirmed, the job moves through clear states — so you are never left wondering whether anyone is actually coming.

Good to know

The practical questions.

No. Sending a request is free, needs no payment details, and puts you under no obligation. You only pay the fitter for work you have agreed to at the price you were shown.

The independent mobile tyre business that attends. FlatTyreHelp introduces you and coordinates the job; the work itself, and the contract for it, is between you and that fitter. We show you who they are before you confirm.

It happens occasionally — an unsafe location, a seized wheel, or damage that turns out to need a workshop. A good fitter will explain why and you will not be charged for work that was not done. Tell us and we will help you find the next step.

Yes, for planned work. Urgent jobs are matched on who can realistically attend soonest, and we give you the estimate before you commit rather than after.

They leave with the fitter. Waste tyres cannot be landfilled in the UK and must be handled by a registered waste carrier.

Tell us and tell the fitter. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality. We will help you raise it with the fitter and, where needed, escalate it.

Ready? It takes about a minute.

Tell us where the vehicle is and what has happened. We will come back with who can help and what it costs.
