Mobile puncture repair, where the vehicle is.
Picked up a nail, or losing pressure overnight? A mobile fitter can inspect and repair the tyre where it stands — or tell you honestly when it needs replacing.
What puncture repair actually involves
A puncture does not always announce itself. Sometimes it is a screw you can see in the tread; sometimes it is a tyre that reads 6 PSI low every Monday morning. Both are worth dealing with quickly, because a tyre that is run under-inflated overheats and can be damaged beyond repair in a surprisingly short distance.
Mobile puncture repair means you do not have to gamble on whether the tyre will survive a drive to the garage. The fitter comes to the vehicle, takes the tyre off the rim, and inspects it properly.
What is included
- Leak trace — Water-bath or soap trace to find the actual leak, including valve and bead-seat leaks that look like a puncture but are not.
- Repairability assessment — Against BS AU 159: minor damage only, within the central three-quarters of the tread, no run-flat damage.
- Internal combination repair — Stem and patch fitted from inside the tyre after the injury is prepared — the only repair type that seals both the hole and the liner.
- Rebalance and refit — Because a repair adds mass to one point in the tyre, the wheel is rebalanced before it goes back on.

Puncture Repair — the common questions.
If yours is not here, send a request and describe it. There is no charge and no obligation.
A small injury or leak that loses pressure gradually — often a thin screw, a porous alloy rim, a corroded bead seat or a failing valve. It is still a leak, and the tyre still needs the same inspection.
Not as a long-term plan. Running repeatedly under-inflated builds heat in the sidewall, and that heat damage is not repairable. It also costs you fuel and tread life.
Aerosol sealant makes the tyre messy to work on and some fitters charge extra to clean it out, but it is not automatically fatal. Tell us if you have used one so the fitter can plan for it.
Typically £35–£60 for a mobile repair depending on area, time of day and vehicle. You see the actual figure from a real fitter before you accept anything.
