1. Who we are
This website is operated by FlatTyreHelp Ltd ("FlatTyreHelp", "we", "us"). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at help@flattyrehelp.com.
2. What FlatTyreHelp is — and what it is not
FlatTyreHelp is an online platform that introduces drivers who need mobile tyre assistance to independent mobile tyre businesses ("fitters") operating in the relevant area.
We do not carry out tyre work. We do not employ fitters, we do not own service vehicles, and we do not hold tyre stock. Where a job proceeds, the contract for the supply of goods and services is formed directly between you and the fitter. Our role is limited to introduction, coordination and — where applicable — facilitating payment.
3. Using this site
You may use this site to look up information and to send a service request. You must not use it to submit false or misleading information, to send requests you have no intention of proceeding with, to attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access, or in any way that interferes with its operation.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to submit a request.
4. Requests, quotes and bookings
Submitting a request is free and creates no obligation on either side. It is not a booking and it is not an offer capable of acceptance.
Where a fitter is available, you will be shown the fitter, an indicative arrival window and a price. A contract is formed only when you accept that quote and the fitter confirms. Arrival windows are estimates and depend on traffic, weather and job duration; they are not guarantees.
Prices and ranges published on this site are indicative guidance to help you plan. The figure you accept from a matched fitter is the figure that applies.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about the vehicle, the tyre and the location. A fitter's ability to help depends on it.
- Make sure the working location is safe, level and legally accessible. A fitter may decline on arrival if it is not.
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and that keys, locking wheel nut keys and any needed access permissions are available.
- Be contactable on the number you provide.
- Do not ask a fitter to work in an unsafe location, including any live carriageway or hard shoulder.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a request at any time before you accept a quote, at no charge. After acceptance, cancellation terms are those of the fitter and will be shown to you before you accept.
Where the service is one you have requested to be carried out urgently, note that your statutory 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts may be affected if you ask for the work to begin within that period and it is then completed. You will be told this clearly before you accept.
If a fitter cancels or fails to attend, tell us and we will attempt to rematch the job. You will not be charged for work that was not carried out.
7. Your rights when something goes wrong
Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and for a reasonable price where none was agreed; goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Those rights are exercisable against the fitter who supplied the goods or services. We will, however, assist you in raising a complaint, will provide the job record and contact details, and may suspend or remove a fitter from the platform where the evidence warrants it.
8. Complaints
Raise it with the fitter first wherever possible. If that does not resolve it, contact us at help@flattyrehelp.com with your job reference. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and respond substantively within ten.
9. Fitters using the platform
Fitters accept separate terms on registration. Fitters are independent businesses, not employees, workers or agents of FlatTyreHelp. Fitters are responsible for their own insurance, licences, waste-carrier obligations, tax and equipment, and for the standard of the work they carry out.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, because we act as an introducer rather than the supplier of the work, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, timekeeping or conduct of any fitter. Our liability to you in connection with the platform is limited to the fees (if any) we have received from you in connection with the relevant job.
We do not guarantee that fitter availability will exist in any given area or at any given time, nor that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Content on this site
Guides and other editorial content are general information for UK drivers. They are not advice about your specific vehicle. Always follow your vehicle handbook and the tyre manufacturer's instructions, and rely on the judgement of a qualified fitter who has inspected the tyre.
All content, branding and design on this site is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce it commercially without permission.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you submit a request. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
