Mobile tyre replacement at your location.
Below the legal limit, cracked, or damaged beyond repair? Get the right replacement tyre fitted where the vehicle already is.
What tyre replacement actually involves
The legal minimum tread depth for cars, light vans and light trailers in the UK is 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters of the tread and around the full circumference. Below that it is three penalty points and a fine per tyre — and grip in the wet has usually fallen away well before you reach the limit.
Replacement is also the outcome when a tyre cannot be safely repaired: sidewall damage, a bulge, a cut, cords showing, or a tyre that has been run flat. A mobile fitter can do the whole job at your address.

Tyre Replacement — the common questions.
If yours is not here, send a request and describe it. There is no charge and no obligation.
Where possible, replace in axle pairs so grip is balanced side to side. It is not a legal requirement for most vehicles, but it is what most fitters recommend when the remaining tyre has significantly different tread.
The widely accepted guidance is that the best tyres go on the rear axle, because rear grip loss is much harder to recover from than front. A fitter will usually rotate to achieve that.
Often, yes — tell us the current tyre and the fitter will say whether they can source it or offer the closest equivalent.
They leave with the fitter. Waste tyres must be handled by a registered waste carrier and cannot be landfilled in the UK.
